Statement

My work is a visual presentation of my thoughts, memories, knowledge and “what-ifs?”.  Each piece tells the story of its own invention through a process of layering and erasing, exposing and hiding.  The layers are a product of the relationship of random and deliberate mark-making.  While an individual piece is a record of one particular arrangement of possibilities, the decisions made in its development open up the potential for other questions and solutions to be explored in new work.
